LETTINGS - These are on a weekly basis, Saturday to Saturday. Letting is after 4pm on the day of your arrival and ends at 10am on the day of your departure, unless otherwise agreed with the proprietors.

PRICES -  from £840.00 - £910.00. If you are not able to return home due to illness or Covid, you are responsible for any additional nights' accommodation cost, in line with your weekly price.

INCLUSIONS - Prices quoted include electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and initial supply of logs.

Due to Covid-19 we are now unable to provide a starter pack.

BOOKING AND PAYMENT - Bookings are secured upon receipt of deposit (£100.00) per week.

There are 2 options:

Option 1 by BACS transfer payment, please include your name as booking ref.

Option 2 by cheque made payable to D Kerr at the cottage address.

Balance payment is due 1 month prior to commencement of the let either by BACS transfer or cheque payment to the address above.

Confirmation of booking and payments will be acknowledged in either writing or by email.

CANCELLATIONS - The booking is accepted subject to the clear understanding that if the cottage cannot be made available for the dates booked due to circumstances beyond the control of the proprietor and the booking has to be cancelled, the hirer is entitled to a refund not exceeding the amount paid and will have no further claim against the proprietors.

In the event of cancellation by the hirer, any money paid will only be refunded if the cottage is re-let at the full price.

It is advisable that the hirer take out appropriate holiday insurance to protect against any unforeseen circumstances.

CARE OF PROPERTY - The hirer is responsible for Kirsty's Cottage during the hire period and must take reasonable and proper care of the cottage, including fixtures and fittings and leave them in the same clean, tidy condition and state of repair at the end of the let as at the beginning. The hirer should advise the proprietors of any breakage or damage which occurs during the let. Replacement items will be charged at cost.

INJURY, LOSS OR DAMAGE - The use of Kirsty's Cottage and its contents is entirely at the hirers risk and no responsibility can be accepted by the proprietor for injury to the hirers, nor for loss or damage to their belongings, including motor vehicles.

RIGHT OF ENTRY - The proprietors reserve the right of entry to Kirsty's Cottage at any reasonable time for the purposes of inspection or to carry out any necessary repairs or maintenance.

The proprietor reserves the right to refuse entry to any persons in breach of the contract or acting in a manner that may cause nuisance or offence.

PETS -  Are only allowed at the discretion of the proprietors and by prior arrangement when booking. The hirer must ensure that pets are kept under control, are not allowed on the furniture, or upstairs and that any mess is cleared before departure as a courtesy to other guests and ourselves!

SMOKING - Smoking is prohibited inside the cottage, as a courtesy to other guests.
