Idyllically situated traditional Skye crofters cottage sympathetically renovated, offering luxury accommodation. Kirsty's Cottage is located by the seashore, just a 3 minute walk, with stunning views over Loch Sligachan towards Glamaig and the Cuillin hills.

Double and Twin bedroom upstairs. The Sun-room is ideal for relaxing or dining and enjoying views to the seashore where seals bask on the rocks. The sitting room has a wood burning stove and there is also under-floor heating through to the kitchen/diner.

There is a spacious, enclosed garden with patio area - ideal for all the family.

Climbing, walking and sight-seeing are all available on the doorstep. Wildlife is all around you. From the Sun-room you can watch Seals laze on a rock at the water's edge, using our 80mm Monocular. When you are out, always keep an eye out for a glimpse of an Otter, a Golden Eagle, or even a Sea Eagle. The deserted shore of Loch Sligachan, ideal for beach combing is a short stroll. A sandy beach ideal for swimming and picnics is also within easy reach, approximately a 20 minute walk.

The property is equipped to a very comfortable standard, and is of the traditional Skye croft house design,and sleeps 4 people comfortably. Additional travel cot available on request.

Kitchen: Gas hob, electric oven, fridge, microwave, dishwasher, sink, dining table & chairs, high chair available on request.

Utility/Cloak Room: Freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, sink.

Sun-room: Dining area, sofa, 80mm Monocular.

Wi-fi available but may be limited due to the rural location and the cottage structure!

Ideal viewpoint to watch Seals in the bay and other local wildlife.

Heating

This is provided by electric under-floor heating on the ground floor. An immersion heater provides hot water, and in the evenings the wood burning stove in the sitting room will keep you cosy after your day out exploring Skye!

Additional portable heaters are available if required.

Garden

The large garden is completely enclosed, ideal for families. The patio area has a picnic table with stylish wooden seating.

The croft leads down to the loch side, and you are free to walk anywhere in the crofting township and on the seashore. Please be aware Sheep roam freely.
